Our follow up album to Both Sides of the Valley.
At this point we were writing songs all the time. Most of the material for this album came from Bailey's apartment in Banff at Moose and Beaver. A legendary spot where friendships were built and broken, parties raged and caesars were made. It seemed like everyone had lived at moose and beaver at one point or another. One thing is for sure is that we spent a lot of hours in front of the fire place writing and chronicling that moment in time.
We needed a better sounding room to record in as our jam space at 107 Boulder crescent was okay, but we didn't want to keep asking the metal guys next door to chill while we were recording.

We asked Gord March of Marches flooring if we could use his space. Gord played in ledgendary local Canmore band Called Sully's Garage. Sully's had transformed the upstairs of Gords shop into a jam space heaven. Fully Carpeted up the walls and and a warm sounding room that oozed character and memories of many Sullies Garage shakers.

We moved in all our gear and spent a week recording live off the floor. Much to our disappointment there was still a lot of bleed happening with certain tracks and we ended up having to re record a bunch of tracks at Justins apartment. Hundreds of extra hours were spent mixing this record and we are proud of how it sounds to this day.
We were able to have Kathleen Matheson of Sully's garage lay down some violin and penny whistle on some tracks as well as the mighty Geoff Hilhorst on keys. More things to mix!
