Fresh off of a wild 2019 summer tour we decided to Air BnB a fall Cabin in Golden to lay the foundation for Morning Light. The artwork is exactly how this album came to be.
The three of us brought all of our musical ideas to the camp and put together the album in one night. With the help of a good fire, some Kootenay/Fernie brews and a little Joe Diffy the music just flew together.

When it came time to think about recording later that winter we brought Kent along for a weekend of gigs in Panorama to season the new tunes live. That weekend turned out to be unreal like so many of our old ski hill haunts usually do.
We recorded the album live off the floor over two days with Steve in Calgary and spend 2 days doing over dubs, much like recording Animalia.
